Registered Psychotherapist & Clinical Supervisor

CRPO #007658
If you’ve made it this far, you’re probably curious about who I am—and I’ll be honest: writing about myself (whether online or not) is not really my jam. I tend to be more on the private side. But I also get that when you’re choosing a therapist or supervisor, it helps to know a bit about who you’re sitting across from. So, here’s a snapshot about me, and I’m more than happy to answer questions if we end up working together.
I’m a Registered Psychotherapist and clinical supervisor with extensive experience in community mental health, higher education, and private practice. I have completed graduate studies in counselling/psychotherapy, applied psychology, and education. My current practice is predominantly virtual, where I support folks 16+ and fellow clinicians across Ottawa and the rest of Ontario.
My therapeutic style is warm, collaborative, and experiential. I approach therapy from strengths-based, relational, and trauma-informed frameworks. My professional interests lie in working with fellow helpers and healers—other therapists, health professionals, teachers, and caregivers—as well as folks navigating grief, anxiety, ADHD, and those grappling with the existential “what now?” or “how come” moments life sometimes throws at us.
Whether you’re burnt out, craving something deeper, or want some support in navigating the ups and downs of being human, I’m here for a real talk. Let’s meet you where you’re at—with curiosity, playfulness/humour, and a belief that meaningful change doesn’t have to feel like a solo mission.

Outside the Therapy Room
When he’s not supporting clients or supervising clinicians, you can find Michael curled up with a good book (or five), hanging with his fur babies and actual baby, or dreaming up a new cocktail recipe to share with friends. Reading is his happy place—and yes, he really does read for fun after a day full of therapy notes.
